Collect, equip and build an income base

In the opening tutorial, the roll button brings a boss into the arena. Defeating it leads to a collected unit, then the game asks you to equip and upgrade your first unit. Check your chest after a fight so a useful new copy is not sitting unused while an equipment slot is empty.

Income from equipped units gives you a budget for the next purchase. Collect the cash shown at your base and compare it with the visible cost of a unit level, another slot or a summoner upgrade. A small team that earns steadily helps you make those choices without relying on a rare roll.

Read the next upgrade before spending

Beat the Anime Boss units display a level, a damage value and income per second in the reviewed footage. Record the current output and next upgrade price. If a preview shows the new output, use the difference to estimate how long that purchase takes to pay back.

A unit can be valuable for damage even when its income improvement is small. If a boss takes too long, compare the damage gain. If you are mostly waiting to afford upgrades, compare cash flow. Keep these two goals separate when deciding which copy to improve.

Duplicates and the Fusion menu

PixelMisfit opens a Fusion menu with three matching Thunder Breather copies. This documents the presence of fusion, but it does not establish a universal recipe for every unit. Read the current preview, input copies and required cost before committing a unit you use in your income team.

Compare the income you would remove with the result you would receive. Keep a useful equipped copy when the preview is unclear, and use the fusion decision checklist to judge the tradeoff.

Common questions

FAQ

How do you get units in Beat the Anime Boss?

The official description says to defeat bosses and collect their units. The opening gameplay shows a roll button, a boss fight, a collection chest and an equip step before upgrading the first unit.

Is this a complete list of Beat the Anime Boss units?

No. These are named examples with readable labels in the linked gameplay. The current in-game Index is the reference for the full collection, especially after an update.

Do rare units always earn more than common units?

Do not compare rarity in isolation. Level, mutation and active effects can change a particular copy. Read the actual damage and cash-per-second values before replacing a leveled unit.

How does unit fusion work?

The reviewed video shows a Fusion menu with matching units and a result preview. Check the current ingredients and outcome before confirming; this guide does not assume every rarity or mutation uses the same recipe.
